Our Cargo Contact Center in Finland serves Finnish customers in matters concerning export shipments from Helsinki. Customers in other countries can contact our local Sales/Reservations.
Customers need to make an advance booking by contacting the Contact Center or local Sales/Reservations. This must be done prior to taking the shipment to the cargo terminal.
The Terminal Customer Service in Helsinki handles the reception of export shipments (for flights departing from Helsinki) as well as all import related matters for shipments arriving to Finland.
To make a booking the following information is needed:
- contact details of shipper and consignee
- contents of the shipment, number of pieces and estimated total weight
- origin and destination airports
- desired date of transportation.
Finnair Cargo carries all cargo suitable for air transportation to direct Finnair destinations (of scheduled passenger traffic) and through our partners’ flight network also to other destinations around the world. The shipments are delivered from the airport of origin to the destination airport.
Air freight prices vary by country and destination, and therefore, the Cargo Contact Center in Finland can only confirm the prices for export shipments from Finland. For pricing information on shipments from other countries please contact our local offices. The price of a shipment is determined by its measurements, contents and routing.
When sending special freight, such as live animals or dangerous goods, shippers should familiarize themselves with the instructions concerning such cargo.
