Meet Finnair Cargo at these 7 big pharma, air cargo and logistics events in 2019

1. The World Cargo Symposium (WCS), Singapore
The World Cargo Symposium (WCS) takes place in Singapore on 12-14 March. Organised by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the symposium is the largest annual event of its kind connecting more than 1,000 key people from the entire air cargo supply chain.
Finnair Cargo’s Head of Global Sales Fredrik Wildtgrube will be participating in an exciting panel discussion about the importance of phones as a primary means of business interaction. The discussion is part of a programme in the Cargo Transformation Track on March 13 from 2pm to 5.30pm.
2. Nordic Air Cargo Symposium in Oslo, Norway
The Nordic Air Cargo Symposium, taking place 28-29 March in Oslo, is the only regional event focussing on the North European air cargo market. The event brings together airlines, shippers, operators and many other key people within the industry.
There will be a lot of buzz about Norwegian seafood exports, which are predicted to grow 500 per cent in the next 30 years. Undeniably, Oslo is the place to be to learn about and focus on prospects for this future growth, get market insights and – of course – to network. 3. LogiPharma in Montreux, Switzerland
On 9-11 April we are heading to Switzerland’s traditional resort town of Montreaux to mingle with more than 950 pharma supply chain professionals.

4. Air Cargo Europe in Munich, Germany
Air Cargo Europe is the international air cargo gathering for the global freight industry and takes place in Munich 4-7 June.
Air Cargo Europe is integrated into the transport logistic summit which is the world’s leading trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT, and supply chain management. The event takes place every second year.
Air Cargo Europe will spotlight the latest innovations in the global freight and transport industry and offers a chance to meet lots of international market leaders. You’ll find us at booth number 130 in hall B1.

5. Air Cargo Collaboration Estonia in Tallinn, Estonia
Finnair Cargo's new MD Mikko Tainio will be at Tallinn airport on 3 Sep at an event organised Air Cargo Collaboration Estonia's community representing forwarders, logistics, ground handling, e-commerce, manufacturing and public sector. ACCE comprises 30 companies and 120 individuals pushing together to increase air cargo capabilities and volumes in Tallinn airport.
Mikko will discuss how the latest trends in air freight have an impact on the operations at Finnair Cargo and share his take on Finnair's successful Asia strategy linking West with East via Helsinki.
6. FlyPharma Europe in Copenhagen, Denmark
The FlyPharma Conference Europe 2019 will be held in Copenhagen on 22-23 October and in attendance will be Anja Pöyhönen, Finnair Cargo's sales director Europe and Gina Vandenhove, sales manager Benelux and UK.
FlyPharma offers a great opportunity to visit one of Europe’s most sustainable capitals and dive into the future of the pharma cargo sector. This year’s hot topics are – among others – cyber security, regulatory perceptions and cold chain challenges.

7. The 16th China Air Cargo Summit in Hangzhou, China
The summit will take place 12-14 November 2019 at Le Méridien Hangzhou Binjiang and attending will be Finnair Cargo's managing director, Mikko Tainio and head of global sales, Fredrik Wildtgrube.
Finnair's Mikko Tainio is scheduled to give a presentation to conference delegates on the 13th or 14th.
On the afternoon of the 12th of November there will be a CEO roundtable which Mikko Tainio will attend followed by a tour of Hangzhou Airport Economic Zone which is open to all attendees.
On the 13th and 14th of November there will be a conference and exhibition attended by airlines, airports, ground handlers, logistics companies, freight forwarders, and technology providers.
The theme of 2019's summit will be 'e-Commerce and cargo innovations under trade slowdown'.
